Cute Print

Find answers to common questions about the app.

Why is my print a little bigger or smaller than the size I set?

Most printers stretch or shrink the page slightly. Calibrate once per printer: open Settings > Printer Calibration, print the test page, measure the two lines with a ruler, and enter the results. After that, Cute Print corrects every print for that printer.

What should I choose in the print options?

Keep Scale at 100% — never Fit to Page. Choose the same paper size as in your project and make sure that paper is in the tray. If you export a PDF and print it from another app, print it at 100% scale too.

Why is part of my sheet missing at the edge?

Most home printers can’t print at the very edge of the paper. Open Paper > Margins to see the printable area on the sheet and keep important parts inside it.

How do I print something bigger than one sheet?

Set the size you need and choose Make a Poster. Cute Print splits the picture across several sheets with a 1 cm overlap and marks that show where to join them.

How do I add pictures from Photos or another app?

In that app, tap Share and choose Cute Print. You can start a new project or add the pictures to one of your projects. They are waiting in the project the next time you open Cute Print.

Where are my projects stored?

Your projects and pictures are stored on your iPhone. When iCloud Backup is available, a private recovery copy is also stored in your iCloud. No Cute Print account is required.

How do I back up or move my projects?

iCloud Backup is on by default when iCloud Drive is available. Open Settings > iCloud Backup to check its status, back up now, restore, or delete backups. To create a file you can keep or move yourself, use Settings > Manual Backup. Restoring from either source replaces the projects on that iPhone.

How many prints are free, and how do I restore Premium?

The free plan includes 30 prints; exports count as prints. Premium is a one-time purchase that removes the limit. To restore it, open Settings > Current Plan and tap Restore Purchase. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual projects on the Projects screen, or use Delete All Projects in Settings. iCloud backups aren’t deleted automatically; remove them separately under Settings > iCloud Backup. Delete manual backup files and exported files wherever you saved them.
